Saidell Buckner Moore

I am Saidell Buckner Moore presently teaching second grade at Fennell Elementary Magnet School located in Yemassee, SC. I bring over 36 years to this profession which I love. However, I have taught grades first through eight grade. When I first began at Fennell, I taught only math. My entire career has been at Fennell Elementary School.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, South Carolina in 1986 and Masters in Elementary Education from Charleston Southern University in 1997.

I truly love teaching and the joy on students' faces when they learn new material or accomplish a task they thought could not accomplish. My philosophy is all students can learn given the right environment and expectations. I feel its important to build a good relationship with your students. I have found through the years that students perform better when they know you genuinely care about them.
